Meadow Gold Mack coming to Tulsa Route 66

TULSA - The Meadow Gold District is gaining a new shopping experience and roadside attraction created by Tulsan & Route 66 entrepreneur, Mary Beth Babcock.

Meadow Gold Mack’s Route 66 Outpost, located at 1306 E. 11th Street Unit A in Tulsa’s Meadow Gold District, will be opening on May 18th. The concept comes from Mary Beth, who is also the creative force behind Buck Atom’s Cosmic Curios on 66. The mission of the new space is to create a community and shine a light on other local creatives.

“I am a big fan of each and every vendor in this space. With my motto being to dream big and do the things that you love with fiery passion! I feel a major positive force happening in my life now and I want to ride that wave while I’m on it. I will want to rest one day…but now is not the time! There is FUN WORK to be done!”, Mary Beth said of the new venture.

The outpost will be home to over 20 artists and shops, including favorite Tulsa businesses that have not had a big presence on the Mother Road. Being located on Route 66, this allows customers to drive to one spot to purchase unique gifts, special art and custom curated items suitable for everyone.

With the new shop and Muffler Man statue perched in the shadow of Tulsa’s iconic Meadow Gold neon sign, it gives each vendor at the Outpost the opportunity to gain new fans. Offerings include locally made ice-cream, books, gifts, tees, vintage, art and more available seven days a week.

Throughout the year there will be special events and other featured works. Some examples include workshops where you can make robots from upcycled materials (presented by 3 Bulls Upcycling) to paint-by-number classes (presented by Moonlight Art Factory) to local musician showcases and more. Different artists will be featured in Mack’s Art Gallery, located in the back of the space.  Mack’s first featured artist will be William “Bubba” Flint.

Mark your calendars to attend opening day! May 18th at 8:00 AM - the first 100 customers will receive a FREE Meadow Gold Mack button!
